FAQ COVID-19

Hygiene and the well-being of our guests has always been a priority and now Lakeside Country Club has taken additional measures, by obtaining the “Clean & Safe” seal from the Tourism Board in Portugal. For a complete list of these measures, click here.


We have created an internal protocol with all the rules and regulation that we are adopting at Lakeside Country Club.

HOW DOES THE RECEPTION SERVICE WORK?

Floor markers on the floor will assist guests in maintaining social distance.

The reception will have acrylic glass shields to provide a safety barrier between the receptionist and the guest, in order to keep a safe distance.

 

DO I HAVE TO USE A MASK?

Masks are mandatory in all closed public areas. Should you require additional masks or gloves, these are available for sale at the reception (subject to availability).

 

WILL THE POOL RESTAURANT AND BAR BE OPEN?

The restaurant will be open for breakfast (assisted buffet), lunch and dinner.  In addition, take-away or delivery to your room will be available. There may be changes to the services supplied.

 

ARE ALL HOTEL FACILITIES AVAILABLE?

The outdoor swimming pools will be open and the sun loungers will respect the mandatory social distance between family groups.

Fitness room will be open.

The Club (indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna, spa and library) will be closed.

The massage service will be available.

 

DURING my STAY, I HAVE A REQUEST TO MAKE AT THE RECEPTION. HOW SHOULD I PROCEED?

You may personally visit the front desk or if you prefer, you may contact the reception 24 hours per day by using the phone in your apartment and dialling 9.

The reception will do everything possible to satisfy all requests, always taking hygiene and safety measures as a priority.

 

WHAT EXTRA MEASURES DO you TAKE?

Hygiene has always been of the utmost importance at Lakeside Country Club. In this new concept of space sharing, we have implemented additional measures and have followed the recommendations stipulated by the National Health Board and Tourism Board so as to ensure the safety and hygiene of our services and members of our team.

 

We highlight:

- The time restrictions with the cleaning of the rooms has been removed – the housekeeping staff will take the time that is necessary in order to guarantee a correct cleaning and sanitizing of the rooms, even if this can take longer.

We do not rely on staff outsourcing - we have our fixed internal team that is highly trained and professional, we are convinced that only in this way can we offer the best standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

During the check-in procedure, only one guest can enter the reception lobby at a time. It is also possible to check-in before your arrival if you can provide us with your identity documents.
